10000 Litres Water for Helipad in Severe Drought Affected District for Minister's Visit
Local officials used 10,000 litres water to build a make-shift helipad close to the airport at Belkund village, where Revenue Minister Eknath Khadse landed for reviewing the drought situation in Latur district. Latur is one of the worst-affected districts in Marathwada region and of late two special trains carrying water had been rushed to the parched city to tide over the crisis.
