Farmer Suicides: Could GMO Be Responsible Too?
Mounting debt and crop failure are not the only reasons for suicides. Mass farmer suicides in India are now linked to GMO pesticide chemicals. Toxic agricultural chemicals, sprayed on the crops here, not only destroy the soils and the environment, but are also related to depression and schizophrenic episodes among villagers caused by pesticides.
