Despite NHS Trust assurance that patient data provided for the app is to help hospitals keep tabs on patients with kidney problems, privacy groups fear that collaborators DeepMind could use its Database for reasons other than its intended purpose. The data includes patient information such as patient’s location and status, and specific lab tests.
