Is Urban Agriculture Just a Hobby for City Elites?
Urban farming isn't always more environmentally friendly, as experts believe such farms actually end up making global warming worse. Again, urban farms may not feed entire cities, but what they can do is improve neighborhood aesthetics, reduce crime, and foster social integration. They can also be an additional source of healthy, low-cost produce.
