Indian Marine Scientists Revive 10K-Year Old Dead Coral Reef

In a world first, Indian Marine scientists from the Zoological Survey of India successfully restored thousands of years old dead Acropora Stag-horn coral reef by transplanting corals from a similar environment in the Gulf of Mannar. These corals grow faster than other coral species and help in increasing the fish population, scientists say.
