Controversy in Pakistan over permission to GM corn seeds
A heated controversy is raging in Pakistan over whether or not the government has given a go-ahead to multinationals to make commercial sale of GM corn seeds. It comes at a time when the Seed (Amendment) Bill, which allows it, is yet to be passed by the Senate. Company claims it received a formal permission from the Ministry of Climate Change.
